Year highlights
- The Wemindji community celebrated the exciting opening Joy Ottereyes Rainbow Memorial Elementary School in 2017. This new facility will be a great addition to our elementary school system, which already benefits from iPads in each classroom and a breakfast program.
- Secondary students benefitted from a new student lounge and consistent meetings regarding their success at school during this school year.
- Through the RTI model and community involvement, staff and students worked to apply the school’s motto: “Academic Success For All. No Excuses. Just Solutions.”
